SEAA 12 Stage Road Relay: Cancelled

The South of England 12 Stage Road Relay, scheduled to take place in Milton Keynes on Sunday, was cancelled. The organiser gave updates about the weather conditions on Saturday and was hopeful that the race would go ahead. But overnight snow and a 10am course inspection led to the bad news. Our men's team in particular was extremely disappointed at being unable to race. Team Manager Terry McCarthy said, "Knowing what I know about other team line-ups, I feel that we would have finished amongst the top 2. Now we shall never know."

The Midlands and Northern Championships were also cancelled.

The National Championships are scheduled to take place on 13th April at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield.
